Xpedr

Privacy Policy

Last updated July 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Xpedr (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use our website and services. We built Xpedr for outdoor and community events — we collect only what we need to run the product well.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data — name, email address, password (stored hashed), profile details you choose to add (e.g. bio, avatar).
  • Event & registration data — events you create or join, registration status, optional notes, waiver signatures, and results you or organization staff enter.
  • Social & engagement data — follows, saved events, reviews, comments, organization memberships, and gamification stats.
  • Usage data — basic logs needed to operate and secure the service (e.g. IP address, browser type, pages visited).
  • Contact form — name, email, and message content when you write to us.

2. How we use information

  • Provide accounts, event discovery, registration, and organization tools.
  • Send transactional emails (confirmations, reminders, updates you opt into by saving or following).
  • Display public profiles, event pages, leaderboards, and community features you choose to use.
  • Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and support customers.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. What others can see

Event pages, organization profiles, member profiles, reviews, comments, and results may be visible to other users or the public depending on how you use the platform. Do not share sensitive personal data in public fields if you do not want it visible.

4. Sharing with service providers

We use trusted infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery, file storage) to operate Xpedr. They process data on our instructions and only as needed to provide the service. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users and the platform.

5. Retention

We keep account and event data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us; some records (e.g. signed waivers or financial audit trails) may be retained where required.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No online service is completely secure — please use a strong, unique password and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

7. Your choices

  • Update profile information in Settings.
  • Manage email notifications where the product provides controls.
  • Contact us to access, correct, or delete personal data subject to applicable law.

8. Children

Xpedr is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided us data.

9. Cookies & advertising tags

We use essential cookies and similar technologies required to keep you signed in, protect the service, and remember basic preferences. These do not require consent.

If you click Accept on our cookie banner, we also enable Google advertising and analytics tags (Google Ads conversion measurement). Those tags may set cookies to understand whether our marketing brings organizers to Xpedr. If you click Reject, those tags stay in restricted mode and we do not use advertising cookies for measurement or personalization.

You can change your choice anytime via Cookie settings in the site footer. Visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA) are asked for consent before advertising cookies are used, in line with Google Consent Mode and applicable privacy law.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
